Marc Mimram Bridges

Bridges

Features forty emblematic bridge designs from Paris-based firm Marc Mimram Architecture Ingénierie.

French architect and civil engineer Marc Mimram is one of the world’s leading designers of bridges. Marc Mimram Bridges features forty emblematic projects in France, the UK, Morocco, and China that he has realized with his Paris-based firm Marc Mimram Architecture Ingénierie.

The projects are arranged in three thematic sections: Landscape / Public Space, Gravity / Statics, and Fabrication / Materiality. Each is documented through photographs by architectural and landscape photographer Erieta Attali and other images, plans, and technical details. Concise texts highlight the design process, prefabrication, and construction stages. The visuals are supplemented with an introductory essay by distinguished architecture historian Antoine Picon and a conversation between Picon and Mimram. A complete chronological catalog of Marc Mimram’s bridge projects and an index round out this volume.
